My coming out story
It all started in 3rd grade, i started looking at boys. I had feelings for a boy named Nico. All I wanted to do was hold his hand and be his “friend”. Then, the feelings got more intense. But, sadly I found out I had dyslexia and had to switch schools. So, I went to a school that could help me with my learning difference and I was able to learn different strategies that I could use when I graduated and went to HS. in about 5th grade, at the start of basketball season, I started having feelings for a boy. I thought it would pass, but it didn’t. I was told by some friends that for a boy to like other boys wasn’t normal. Then one day after classes, a girl asked me out and I said yes. We dated for like 2 weeks, but then she broke up with me. After that, I developed a crush on a girl, Katie. She was out of my league, but i think she knew i liked her. I never asked her out, but we still are best friends. Then, it was 8th grade. Everyone was having a party and the whole grade was invited. One time, my friends told me that the hottest girl in the grade liked me and wanted to dance with me. I never believed it. When I graduated,
I went to a High School that couldn’t accommodate my needs. I ended up staying there for 2 years and finally decided I needed to move schools. So, I went and toured other schools and I loved one of them. But it was a boarding school. I had to beg my parents to let me go, even though they knew this was going to be the best school for me, they didn’t want me living away from home. Then i repeated sophomore year and my roommate was hot, but totally straight. He found out about me on snapchat. He told me he was supportive, but didn’t like me that way. Then, senior year is almost over, and I find out that my best friend likes me. I agree to hook up with him, but it was like 2 weeks before graduation. So far at college, only my close friends know and if people ask, I tell them im bi. Some are supportive, while some are not.
